Solving skill shortages will accelerate digital transformation

There is no doubting the drive towards digital transformation, and the impact it brings, is accelerating. We can see it with the rise of fintech opening up financial inclusion for millions, or telemedicine and healthtech solutions transforming the healthcare sector. But these “tech” innovations are often driven by startups disrupting their respective industries, rather than by the digital transformation taking place within large corporations.

Bachelor in Business Administration (BBA): FAQs

Affordability is in our mission: we want you to access high-quality, online education, no matter where you live in the world.

We are a mission-driven organization and a Public Benefit Organization (PBC). That means we're for-profit, but we prioritize public benefit every time.

  • It should be accepted in the US as we are nationally accredited in the US by Distance Education Accrediting Commission (DEAC). DEAC is listed by the U.S. Department of Education as a recognized accrediting agency and is recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA).
  • Acceptance of your credentials from NXU is still dependent on the receiving organization. It is the sole discretion of the receiving institution/employer whether or not they will accept the degree that you will get at any university.
  • What we ensure is that you can stand out in a competitive job market. We utilize competency-based education to ensure you are able to apply your knowledge to real-world situations rather than just spending time memorizing theory. You'll have a capacity to adapt and pivot, and walk away with highly portable skills.

We're a new university and we're still building up the data we need; it's a bit too soon to appear in rankings tables. Until we do, we're committed to delivering high-quality, affordable online education to learners across the globe, to help them rank higher in their careers.

Yes!

Nexford University is accredited in the US by the Distance Education Accrediting Commission (DEAC), which is listed by the U.S. Department of Education as a recognized accrediting agency and is recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA).

We're also licensed by the Higher Education Licensure Commission (HELC) in Washington DC, and our courses have been certified by Quality Matters (QM).

WES will evaluate Nexford degrees, however they will not say they are equivalent to a Canadian degree because we are nationally accredited in the United States by the Distance Education Accrediting Commission (DEAC).  DEAC is recognized as an accrediting agency by both the U.S. Department of Education and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA). Most schools in the U.S. and Canada will do their own credit evaluations.

Nexford University’s undergraduate degree program applicants (Associate of Applied Science in Business and Bachelor of Business Administration) must provide proof of high school graduation or of their General Educational Development (GED) or equivalent certificate (for example, HiSET, TASC) and valid copies of their official diploma and transcript. You also have the option to prove that you are comfortable with the English language by taking an online self-assessment at no cost. If you’ve graduated from an institution where the primary language of instruction was English, we will rely on your transcript to prove English proficiency. If your prior education was not in English, we’ll need to confirm English proficiency as part of our process to ensure you’re equipped to succeed at Nexford.
