The next-generation university has gained recognized status from the chartered membership body dedicated to professional managers and leaders

Nexford University is now a Chartered Management Institute (CMI) Recognized Centre; the only chartered body in the UK that awards management and leadership qualifications. With over 100,000 managers and leaders part of the community, and 450 employers under service in the UK alone, CMI advances towards its vision to better led and managed organizations. A key part of CMI’s offer is a portfolio of over 80 different qualifications it offers in subjects, including leadership, strategic direction, project management and coaching and mentoring. Dr Sheila Fournier-Bonilla, Nexford’s Chief Academic Officer says, “Nexford offers learners an opportunity to master relevant job skills, such as communication and digital fluency – skills to give you an edge in the world of work.”

“With the job market becoming ever more competitive, it pays to get qualified."

Only one in five UK managers hold a management qualification, meaning a bit of extra learning can help job seekers stand out from the crowd when taking the next step on the career ladder. When people are trained in management and leadership, there is an increase in 23% organizational performance, and 32% employee engagement, shows CMI research.

Last year, 28,000 people registered to study for a CMI Qualification, which is estimated to boost lifetime earnings by more than $100k on average – joining a membership body, such as CMI, can add $88.3k.
