Within seven days after submitting your scholarship application, a Nexford admissions representative will contact you via email to let you know if you have been shortlisted.

If you receive the mentorship scholarship, you’ll get a unique tuition code that will give you 25% towards your monthly tuition. That means you only need to pay $135/month. The standard MBA completion time is 18 months, bringing your total tuition to $2,430 for an MBA degree! With this scholarship, you can pay your tuition monthly, quarterly, or annually. You can also pay in local Naira.

Yes! We know that graduation is a time to celebrate your success with your friends, family and loved ones. Nexford will run local (in certain countries) and global graduation ceremonies, and plans to host a US graduation in the future too.

Nexford’s Masters of Business Administration (MBA) has a standard completion time of 18 months. The faster you finish, the more money you’ll save.

Yes, there’s a one-off application fee. It costs $30. If you want to re-apply you don’t need to fill in another application, but you will need to pay the fee again.

All applicants to Nexford’s MBA degree must provide proof that they completed a bachelor’s degree at an accredited institution in a business-related field, or equivalent for international institutions, with a valid copy of their official diploma and transcript. If applicants are not able to provide these documents, they must submit an explanation in writing together with any supporting materials that might assist the university in certifying their graduate status. If you’ve graduated from an institution where the primary language of instruction was English, we will rely on your transcript to prove English proficiency. If your prior education was not in English, we’ll need to confirm English proficiency as part of our process to ensure you’re equipped to succeed at Nexford.

You’ll need to enroll by no later than the 27th of this month to start on the first of the next month. You’ll need this time to take orientation, and settle into the Nexford online learning environment and meet your success advisor before your first course starts on the first of the next month. • Acceptance of your degree from NXU is still dependent on the receiving organization. It is the sole discretion of the receiving institution/employer whether or not they will accept the degree that you will get at any university.

NUC currently does not recognize nor have any regulatory cover for foreign universities or fully online universities. To put it into perspective, just the same way NUC can’t accredit a traditional American university which is outside of NUC’s jurisdiction, it also can’t accredit Nexford University. This may affect Nexford bachelor’s degree graduates who are looking to pursue NYSC, although graduates of Nexford University are still eligible to apply for a certificate of exclusion which is an official NYSC certificate.

Our online learning environment contains everything you need to learn at Nexford. It's where you'll take courses, chat with peers, submit assignments, receive feedback, track your grades, and access your faculty's calendars to book one-on-one sessions. It's also where you'll manage your enrollment, add courses, and pay your tuition.

You'll get access to your modules through Canvas, a learning management platform, and you can even take your learning wherever you go with the Canvas mobile app. Module materials include reading, videos, interactive elements, quizzes, and relevant case studies. 

Live lectures are done by faculty once every two weeks or more often. Don't worry, these sessions are entirely optional, and you don't have to wait for them to progress in your learning or course — everything you need to complete your projects, assignments, or assessments is available through your modules.

Assessments are weekly, and you must meet assessment and project deadlines to progress seamlessly. We recommend you allocate a minimum of 15-20 hours per week to your learning at your most convenient time to achieve this. If you need additional support, our Learner Success team is available 24/7. They will also help you with transitioning to online studies, creating your study timeline, and goal setting.

Nexford is 100% online, with a headquarters in Washington DC. We have no campus. Having a Nexford campus would increase our costs and, therefore, we would need to raise your tuition. Our learners are our main concern. We keep our operating costs low by being a 100% online, next-generation university. This way, we don’t need to maintain expensive classroom buildings, a campus you don’t need and other expensive add-ons.
