Business Concepts Course
In the Business Concepts course, learners will develop their knowledge of business terminology, concepts, and how it fits into the context of the core areas of business (people management, operations, finance, accounting, strategy, technology, and marketing). Learners will develop an understanding of how to conduct business in a global economy and the basics of entrepreneurship. Whether to lead or to launch a business, understanding the foundation of business is necessary to develop and sustain a successful organization.

Define the basic fundamentals of business: operations, strategy, finance, technology, accounting, people management, and marketing.
Analyze the four types of organizational structures to understand how each might meet the needs of the business.
Explain the interdependencies and relationships between departments across the organization.
Compare and contrast the differences of entrepreneurship and intrapreneurship.
Examine the fundamental concepts and methods of data driven decision making.
Review job opportunities in business fields to create a personal career path.
