Branding and Creative Direction
Branding and Creative Direction examines the process of defining the vision and personality of an original brand or a re-brand, and how to develop guidelines to ensure the brand values are calibrated across all marketing and communication channels. Emphasis is placed on the communication and execution of the brand promise to attract and retain customers.
You’ll learn to master communication competencies and skills that can be used when interacting with stakeholders and team members to develop effective creative direction for brand creation and campaigns. Learners critically evaluate brand perceptions that have been defined by brand strategy and supported by marketing and communications.

What will I learn?
Explain the definition of brand and its effects on consumers, shareholders, employees, and third parties
Define the steps in creating a brand personality, including identifying differentiators, initiating ideas via brainstorming tools, and forming a mission and vision statement
Analyze the importance and legal means of protecting intellectual property and trademark rights on a regional, national and global scale
Evaluate how to measure campaign success and adapt and scale branding campaigns appropriately
Identify the component parts of a brand, including core values, mission, vision, product or service niche, and target audience definition
Identify the elements required to develop a creative strategy, including preparation of effective creative briefs, identification of key channels, using sound presentation techniques and producing robust creative guidelines
Examine roles, responsibilities, workflow systems and approval processes to ensure brand consistency across all touchpoints
