Tell me about the learning experience

Each course contains five modules and a final assessment. Our modules contain interactive content, including videos, blog-length articles, electronic flashcards and case studies.

Do I need to have work experience?

No. Relevant work experience is helpful, but not required.

If you're advanced in your field, you should choose from Advanced courses.

If you're just starting out, or want to reskill in another area, choose from Intermediate courses.

How long does each course take?

You have eight weeks to complete each course. Nexford is 100% online, which means you can log in when it suits you.

While you're learning, your personal Success Advisor will help you stay on track.

Can I take more than one course at once?

You can! If you're just starting out, we recommend you take one course, and give yourself time to understand the learning environment and expectations. After that, you're welcome to take more. We suggest you limit yourself to two courses at once. That way, you can keep up with the workload and dive deep into the course content.

If you're enrolled a single course, you'll pay the total price for that course. You can take as many courses as you want, and pay for each of them.

Are the courses recognized?

We are a licensed, degree-granting institution of higher education.

We’re licensed the Higher Education Licensure Commission in Washington DC. All institutions of higher education licensed by the Higher Education Licensure Commission (HELC). We're also accredited by Accreditation Service for International Schools, Colleges and Universities (ASIC), which is an independent body based in the UK.

Each university sets its own credit transfer policy. To find out whether a specific school or university will transfer credit from your Nexford coursework, you should reach out to their admissions’ or registrar’s office to inquire.

Will I get support while I'm learning?

Everyone at Nexford benefits from our system of support. Our dedicated team of faculty and advisors is available 24/7 to answer questions, discuss content, and help you meet your goals within your course.

You also have the option to attend orientation. It's a great way to get familiar with the online learning environment. Access your dashboard and take your six orientation modules to understand where you'll take courses, view your grades and explore your resources.
