About The Global Grid

The Global Grid (TGG) is a mentorship program launched by Nexford University (NXU) to enable talent around the world to prepare for remote jobs. The program aims to increase awareness around the millions of jobs that are moving online, and the skills you need to qualify for these jobs.

TGG stems from our belief that when equipped with the right education people should be able to access quality, remote jobs regardless of where they are. The program will explore the specific skills employers are looking for and how people around the world can join this virtual, global talent grid.

    Angela earned a B.S. in Education with a minor in Neuroscience and a Master's Degree in Literacy and Ed Leadership.     the Founder and CEO of PCDN.global one of the world’s leading platforms connecting changemakers in diverse sectors to opportunities around the world. From 2005 to 2016 he served as professor in the Conflict Resolution program at Georgetown University before stepping down in June 2016 to work on PCDN full time (he continues to teach a class on social entrepreneurship).

    Craig has dedicated his life to being an entrepreneur and to creating a more peaceful world. Before creating PCDN, Craig also helped to co-found two NG0s – the Alliance for Conflict Transformation and the TEAM foundation in Hungary. Craig serves on a number of boards/advisory boards including Tech Change, Move this World, Amani Institute and Alliance for Conflict Transformation. He spent two years in Hungary as Fulbright Scholar and was a Boren Fellow in Bosnia.

    He has managed budgets in excess of $2 million USD in his various roles, developed successful funding proposals from a diverse range of funders and established a sustainable social enterprise.

    He has led trainings, workshops and consultancies in over 20 countries organizations including with USIP, USAID, CRS, Rotary International and others. Craig is a recognized leader in the social sector field. He has received several awards including George Mason’s School of Conflict Analysis and Resolution’s alumni of the year award and an alumni career achievement award from Central European University. He has published widely on peacebuilding, entrepreneurship, and innovation in higher education.

    a recognized policy expert, specializing in public-private partnerships in education. She is Managing Director of The Education Partnership Centre (TEP Centre); Nigeria’s pioneering education partnership organization.

    The pan-African Education Innovation Summit (NEDIS) was established under Mo’s leadership. Now in its sixth year, NEDIS is a platform for identifying and scaling meaningful innovations in the education sector. She is leading the implementation of LEARNigeria; Nigeria’s tech-enabled citizen-led household assessment and advocacy programme, which in partnership with government and corporate sector, is assessing the foundational literacy and numeracy competencies of thousands of children and youth aged 5-18 in Nigeria.

    In 2020, Mo was appointed a member of the Technical Working Group (TWG) charged with the responsibility of developing Nigeria’s Medium-Term National Development Plans and the country’s strategic plan. She has been co-convener of the Federal Ministry of Education's summit - Nigeria's Annual Education Conference (NAEC) - since 2019. She also wrote a section of the Federal Ministry of Education’s Strategic Plan for Education (2011-2015). She was previously Monitoring and Evaluation Workstream Lead with UK-DfID’s ESSPIN Programme, Business Analyst with Accenture, Vice President at Junior Achievement and worked in banking for two years.

    She serves as a Board Trustee of dynamic and impactful non-profit organisations: Malala Fund, Unveiling Africa Foundation, Human Capital Africa, and Slum2School Africa. As a young person, she was a Trustee of the Commonwealth Youth Exchange Council, London, and a Crans Montana Fellow, Geneva.

    She is a Commissioner on the Global Commission on Evidence to Address Societal Challenges at McMaster University, served on the Advisory Committee of the Brookings Institution Center for Universal Education (CUE) Millions Learning Programme in D.C. and is an Advisory Committee Member of the 15-member People’s Action for Learning (PAL) Network which is committed to citizen-led assessments in the global South.

    Mo is a Fellow of the Asia-Global Institute in Hong Kong and an Honorary Fellow of the National Institute for Educational Planning and Administration (NIEPA), Nigeria. As a Centenary Scholar (Africa), she received a PhD in Education and International Development from the Institute of Education (IOE), University College London where her thesis proposed a model of public-private partnership in education. She earned a Masters with Distinction from the same institution. She also holds a Masters degree in Finance and Economic Policy (Major) from the University of London (Modules included: Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Financial Markets, Capital Markets, Banking, Banking regulation & IMF/Economic policy).

    In terms of executive education, her post-graduate areas of study include Finance (specifically infrastructure) , Pre-hospital Emergency care, Healthcare leadership , Healthcare delivery, and Economics/Economic Policy She has a certificate in Public-Private Partnership from Harvard University, a Project Finance and the Public Private Partnership Professional Certificate from the New York Institute of Finance, a certificate in Business execution and strategy from Wharton, Economic policy making from IE business school, Spain , a certificate in Accounting for decision making from the University of Michigan in the United States and a certificate in Finance & Investing in Infrastructure (Project Finance) from Universita Bocconi in Milan.
